Cookeville’s culinary landscape is about to get a bit more flavorful with the arrival of Wingstop at the Shoppes at Eagle Point, positioning itself conveniently next to Well Health and Chiropractic.
What We Know
Cookeville is buzzing with the news of Wingstop’s newest location, which will be right here at The Shoppes at Eagle Pointe. The Dallas-headquartered chain, which took flight in 1994, is known for its commitment to customer service and promises to bring its “Serving the World Flavor” ethos to Cookeville.
The Location
At the very far end of the strip center with Five Guys and Spectrum, Wingstop will be serving up its delicious wings and sides at the Shoppes at Eagle Point, a location that continues to attract a variety of dining options. Texas Roadhouse recently moved in nearby, as well as Drake’s just over by Panda Express.
Other shops close by are Academy Sports, Publix, Five Below. The Shoppes at Eagle Point is a large shopping center and it appears as though Wingstop may be snagging the last open unit.
If you look at the below map of Wingstop locations in Tennessee, Cookeville really was a logical choice for them. Cookeville will help to bridge the gap between Nashville and Knoxville.
The Timeline
Details on the official opening date are still under wraps, but with the buildout underway, wing aficionados won’t have to wait long to indulge in Wingstop’s offerings. I looked on the website and saw no mention about a timeline on the Cookeville location, but the Putnam county mayor officially announced it as well as the UCBJ article linked to below. So it’s happening, but when exactly is still a question.
